SHIPPING POLICY

For web orders, we will send an e-mail confirmation with tracking info to you when your merchandise is shipped.

There are no shipping charges for In-store pick-up. Enjoy the convenience of having usreceive and inspect the package for damage. Online shipping quotes are estimated and oversized items may incur additional charges. We will notify you if any surcharges apply.

We are not responsible for any shipping costs on returned goods or any special shipping requests made by the customer.

We do not guarantee or promise delivery dates. Therefore, we request that our customers plan ahead and place timely orders that allow for both in-house and the transit time. Estimated times are not a guarantee. If you require expedited shipping, please call us at (475) 655-7557 and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

We ship exclusively to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Prices and information shown are subject to verification. In the event of a discrepancy, we will contact you prior to processing your order.

DAMAGED & DEFECTIVE GOODS POLICY

When receiving a delivery, it is necessary to inspect the condition of all goods for any and all visible damage (crushed carton, holes in carton, etc.) before signing for the delivery. If any items are damaged, you must note it on the delivery ticket when signing. In the event of any hidden damage, we must be notified immediately. Claims for unreported damage beyond 7 days of receipt will not be honored.

If you receive damaged or defective goods, please contact our showroom at [email protected] or (475) 655-7557 on replacement procedure. In the case of damaged merchandise sent back for exchange, Your Lighting Source reserves the right to repair or replace the merchandise at its own discretion.

If an item is returned as damaged but found to be in good working condition, the item will be subject to our standard return policy and you will be charged for the return shipping costs.

BACK ORDERED ITEMS

In the event that an item is backordered or sold out, after an order is placed, we will contact you ASAP. You may cancel your order or choose another item.

ORDER CANCELLATION

Cancellation is NOT available on custom orders that have already begun production. Standard item orders may be cancelled, without penalty, provided that the item has not been shipped from Your Lighting Source or the manufacturer. To submit a cancellation request, please contact our showroom at [email protected] or (475) 655-7557. Once we receive your request, we will attempt to cancel the order. If the order has already shipped, you should accept the order and follow our standard return policy.

If delivery of the product is refused, you will be responsible for all shipping costs, refusal charges and any restocking fees.

SALES TAX

We charge sales tax on all orders shipped to Connecticut. Customers receiving items outside of Connecticut accept responsibility to pay any required taxes within their own jurisdiction. If you are tax exempt, please contact us to submit your valid sales tax exemption form.

PRICES, MERCHANDISE DESCRIPTIONS, PICTURES

Your Lighting Source strives for accuracy in regards to product descriptions and pictures, and product pricing. If there is information on our Website that contains typographical errors or other inaccuracies, Your Lighting Source reserves the right to correct any such errors or other inaccuracies and to otherwise change or update information at any time and from time to time without prior notice. Additionally, Your Lighting Source reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders containing any error in accuracy or omission, whether or not the order has been submitted, confirmed and/or your credit card has been charged. You can cancel, without penalty, any item that was incorrectly priced. If your credit card has been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Your Lighting Source will promptly issue a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase. Computer monitors vary from user to user so color representation may not be accurate all the time. If you have any questions or need more information about a product, please contact us.

WARRANTIES

All merchandise sold at Your Lighting Source is subject solely and exclusively to the warranty offered by the manufacturer of the product.

YOUR LIGHTING SOURCE MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND REGARDING THE MERCHANDISE SOLD BY THE WEBSITE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON INFRINGEMENT, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL YOUR LIGHTING SOURCE OR ANY OF ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND LOST PROFITS OR SAVINGS) INCURRED BY YOU, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE MERCHANDISE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, YOURLIGHTINGSOURCE.com IS NOT RESPONSIBLE AND SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR THE SET-UP, INSTALLATION OR MODIFICATION OF ANY MERCHANDISE SOLD.

RETURN POLICY

  • All returned merchandise is subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • We do not accept returns on items beyond 14 days from receipt of merchandise.
  • We do not accept returns on special volume & custom orders.
  • Closeout, Display Sale, Final sale, and clearance items are sold "as is" and cannot be returned.
  • All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition. Products must be new, unused, unaltered, and uninstalled. Merchandise must arrive with the original packing and accessories. Products not in original condition will not be accepted for return. If a shipping carton has writing on it, we will not accept the merchandise.
  • Items purchased from the Website may not be returned directly to Your Lighting Source showroom- Please contact our showroom either by or phone (475) 655-7557 or email at [email protected] for return procedure
  • Returns must be shipped prepaid and insured.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Allow 30 days from the time we receive your returned merchandise for processing. Refunds will only be credited to the original credit card account number charged.
